Lumens are what you must consider when picking your lighting. The more lumens, the brighter the area. Not necessarily wattage. When you use florescent basic lighting, check the lumens to see if it compares or exceeds the existing flood lights you want to replace. 90 watts in incandescent could be less lumens in florescent.
